With Shopia’s multi-language support, words are considered tokens, where 1,000 tokens is about 750 words in English. In languages such as Arabic or Chinese this is calculated differently. In Arabic, مرحبا is roughly 5 tokens, whereas 你好 is 4 tokens. Every time Shopia’s AI generates text, words are consumed from your account. An exception to this are automatic AI suggestions. Cases where a large input is required to generate text (e.g summarisation, Article Rewriter, Instructional, etc.), Input tokens count towards the words consumed.
