We’ve introduced a policy known as the Reasonable Use Policy (RUP) that came into effect on July 17, 2023. This is a standard practice adopted by many AI-based companies across the globe to control and restrict usage on unlimited plans, curbing any potential misuse or overutilization of the generated content.

The central idea behind the RUP is to prevent any misuse, avoid undue burden on our servers, and deliver an optimal experience to all users on the platform. It plays a crucial role in mitigating any form of automated or robotic behavior and sharing of accounts, both of which are strictly prohibited.

In spite of unlimited word counts monthly on our paid fetch plans or lifetime deals, we have implemented a system to control usage based on time. The exact number may vary, but typically around 8 generations per minute for most features, 150 short-form text generations, 10 blog generations per hour are allowed.

In times of high demand, we may need to adjust the number of generations permitted per hour to keep the generation time efficient. Nevertheless, during periods of extreme usage, delays might still occur.

For the majority of our users, the impact of these controls will be minimal as regular use involves creation, review, and modification of outputs.
